You often hear general contractors who say they do quality work, reasonably priced, etc. But, when have you been really happy when the job is done? Even if the work is fine, you’re usually so worn out from keeping them on the job and understanding what you want done that you wonder if it was worth it. None of that here! These professionals were able to save my kitchen. Undetected slow water damage wreaked havoc. Inside and outside walls were damaged and had to be replaced. Cabinets were destroyed, mold everywhere, wood floors lifted and wet. One of our major concerns were our countertops. The custom counter tiles were no longer made and if they could not be salvaged all of our countertops would have to be replaced. We liked our kitchen and wanted it back. The team was not sure if it could be saved, but they were going to try. I am happy to say we have our kitchen back. The mold treatment and floors were outsourced, but everything else was performed by this team. Our countertops were saved. They painstakingly rebuilt all of our cabinets, matched and made new outdoor siding, and returned inside walls to undetectable change. Everything was completed quickly and professionally. I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Rick McGuire during our major model, and how much we loved the end result. Rick was patient and professional throughout the entire process. What we were most impressed with was Rick's preciseness to get everything done the correctly and his ability to overcome the inevitable challenges that naturally come up in a project of this size. I know everyone heard of "Third Time A Charm". In our situation it was Rick McGuire. We had hired two other contractors that had attempted to repair an area on our ceiling that had gotten damaged. They were neither able to correct the cosmetic issue we had. We contacted Mr. McGuire. He came to our home, reviewed the area in need of repair. He told us he thought he could make it look a lot better than it is now. He literally exceeded our expectations by far in the repairing of it. My Wife and I hired Rick McGuire to do a kitchen and 2 bathroom remodel. He also installed cabinets over the desk area, new bi-fold doors covering the washer and dryer and replaced both windows in the front of the condo. They had to tear out the entire kitchen, raise the ceiling in the kitchen, install new lighting and glass tile back splash, replace both vanities and replace the entire master bath shower. The job took longer than expected but Rick and his crew were perfectionists. They also encountered plumbing problems in both baths and had to reconfigure two of the kitchen cabinets since there was a 4” pipe located behind the cabinets.
